The 1st annual Social Media Week Berlin Pitch Competition is focused on identifying local, disruptive technology platforms and products enabling connectivity as it relates to society, culture, media, work and leisure. The overall goal is to "Bridge the Gap" between innovators, investors and startup communities in Germany and Silicon Valley. The competition is encourages participation from those who want to pitch in German or in English.
#SMWBerlin #BiTHouse Pitch Contest is being organized by Social Media Week Berlin and BiTHouse in order to build awareness of founders, their companies and startup solutions focused on connectivity in these areas:
-Work & Enterprise
-Communications (Content Marketing, Media and Public Relations)
-Travel & Leisure
-Society (Social Impact, Sustainability, Ethical Economy, Politics)
Entrepreneurs have an opportunity to make a 5-Minute Pitch (English or German) in front of judges from various business profession and cultural backgrounds. We carefully select our judges in order to minimize the chances of biased evaluations and increase the chances of local success and international appeal. Our goal is to expose companies who focus on local needs, but have solutions that are scalable beyond borders.
