Learn how to pitch your business idea to investors and know more about Ro'Ya, a startup competition open to all UAE female citizens and residents jointly initiated by the Dubai Business Women Council and MasterCard.
Ro’Ya is an initiative which is focused on providing support, guidance and mentorship to aspiring women entrepreneurs to help them establish their desired enterprises and contribute to the development of the country’s economy.
Shortlisted candidates will have to present their ideas to a panel of judges for a chance to win personalized coaching and guidance from MasterCard as well as up to 50k$ to start their business.
To help you prepare and create the perfect pitch, Girls in Tech-Dubai in collaboration with Gulf Investor Circle Group (GICG) invites you to attend a 1h "Win That Pitch" presentation where you will learn:
- What investors want to know, hear and feel,
- How to structure your pitch deck: The Dirty Dozen,
- How to design your slides: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly slide,
- How to present your slides: Body Language, Tone and Eye Contact.
The presentation will be followed by a Q&A session afterwhich a DBWC representative will tell you all you need to know about Ro'Ya.
The event is free of charge and open to all Womentrepreneurs with business concepts that are in the conceptualization phase and have not been implemented yet, or for very small businesses that have the potential to grow into proper SMEs. Men can also participate as long as the main leadership position of the venture is filled by a woman.
