Next Thursday, we’ll host John Fantry, who will pitch an iteration (pivot) of the FeetFeat concept, now branded “Sain et Bel,” which he first introduced at an XcellR8 meeting last April. The “product” is a comprehensive foot care treatment program designed to help people more effectively control and eliminate fungal infections of the feet and toes. When originally presented, John's target market was consumer retail, his focus was athletes foot, and his treatment regimen included use of a particular device as well as the liquid disinfectant produced by his core business, nzymSys.
The XcellR8 group feedback he received that day encouraged him to proceed further, but only after blending certain changes into his concept from our collective advice. Behind that advice, John has obtained important validation from the medical community, altered his plan away from consumer retail, modified his formulation to conform with a published FDA monograph enabling commercialization without having to go through the expensive and time-consuming registration process, had meetings with a potential enterprise collaborator with established distribution, acquired independent lab data verifying efficacy, and added technology and market assessments recommending further development.
